| Video Discription | TIKTOK MUSIC If your favourite song's been missing from TikTok lately, there's good news, because millions of songs are about to make their way back on to the app. You've likely noticed that since February, lots of TikTok videos have been, well, sound-less. That's because earlier this year, Universal Music, the company which owns the rights to all the songs from big-name artists like Olivia Rodrigo, The Weekend and Harry Styles, got into a huge fight with TikTok, and decided to rip all their music from the platform, because they said their artists weren't being paid enough, for songs that Universal claimed were hugely beneficial for the app. But now, they're making a comeback! After a three-month-stand-off, the companies have announced they've finally come to an agreement on two conditions: that Universal artists and songwriters are paid more money, and that there are better protections in place against AI, including deep fakes and AI-generated music. The deal is also great news for Universal's smaller artists, who took a massive hit when their music was taken off the app. So soon, you won't have to experience anymore second hand embarrassment from silent videos like these. ORANGUTAN HEALING For the first time ever, biologists have watched an orangutan healing an open wound using plant medicine! The male Sumatran orangutan had a big wound on his face, and he left scientists stunned as they watched him chew up a plant, which is known to help with inflammation and pain relief to create a paste which he then repeatedly put on his injury. And after just a few days the wound started to heal up! AFL SHOWDOWN South Australia's AFL teams went head to head last night and it was a big night for the Adelaide Crows. In a massive upset, the Crows smashed Port Adelaide 78 to 48 which was the perfect send off for retiring club legend Rory Sloane. WALLY GATOR And finally to Wally, the emotional support alligator in the US. Over the years, Wally has racked up a bit of a following on TikTok and Instagram, but now there's some unfortunate news. Wally has gone missing. Local authorities say that they did catch an alligator the day he went missing and released it into the wild. But also say they're not sure if it was Wally.
