The movie based on the life of Rudrama Devi, one of the powerful and prominent rulers of Kakatiya dynasty and also one of the few ruling queens in Indian history was produced in stereoscopic 3D with a huge budget in Telugu, Kannada and Tamil. Due to financial and other reasons, the release of the movie many times has been postponed. At last Gunasekhar firmly decided to release his epic movie on October 9 under any circumstances. But even that also seems to be not possible. Due to the financial reasons and non-completion of graphic works, it was decided to further postpone the release of the movie. Being a historic one, the movie was mostly based on graphics. Adding to this, being the first stereoscopic 3D movie and lack of such technology with us could be quoted as the main reasons for the delay.
