Robert Himler and Amy Sangster – A love story of two scammers

Who are Robert Himler and Amy Sangster? If you believe their version of events, they are two hard-working and highly successful 21 and 22-year old entrepreneurs (respectively) that have escaped the rat race and are driving Lamborghinis in their spare time (and as we’ll see, professionally). They want you to believe that it was their effort and hard-work that got them to the place thy are in now and that anyone can get in the same position they are in. If you really believe them and love being fooled, why not try their newest get-rich-quick-scheme called ‘Far From It’? Far From It is a ‘collaboration’ between Robert and Amy that attempts to teach you how to become rich very quickly by using their mindset. Their successful and world-changing mindset that propelled them into fame and fortune. Get-rich-quick schemes always work, right? RIGHT?
So how did this entire facade begin? How did these two meet and what is in fact, the true story? Their version of events is far from it.

Robert Himler is a proclaimed self-taught web developer. He attended Full Sail University’s 2-year, intensive web development program to develop his skills and possibly, get some certification for doing any serious web development. Funny enough, he and Amy both are ‘disgusted’ by the current education system and recommend that college or university is not for everyone. So why did Robert end up going to a post-secondary institution? He already had a Lamborghini so his education wasn’t what propelled him forward. I speculate that it was for the networking potential that post-secondary institutions offers and to support my thesis, we will see that he co-founded his most popular site with a fellow student. One needs to take a peek at his website to see what projects he worked on prior to attending Full Sail.
His first ‘web business’ (as he calls it) was a website called iCarHomepage. It allowed you to modify the default background image of the Google Search page. What testosterone-exploding teen doesn’t love exotic cars? Of course, Himler then believes Google copied his work when they implemented that feature into their own codebase (I do hope he is joking). Next, he created a website that allows you to judge other people you deem as ‘creepy at the beach’, one that crops a picture to fit into the tight-space of your Facebook profile, another that filters out certain tweets and 2 more small tools. It is important not to diminish his efforts because he did put in the effort to develop these web pages. But, the question still remains, have these pages brought him millions of dollars in ad revenue? Probably not.
His most interesting website is the one he founded with a student while attending Full Sail University. He developed Razzi, a photo-sharing application that he says rivals Flickr. He wants to pay you for driving traffic to his site by uploading your own photos so more or less, the advertisers are paying you. Himler’s hardest job right now is to get you to buy subscriptions to Razzi’s premium service. The question still remains, how did he purchase his Lamborghini before all of this hard work?

Himler first gained some popularity when he posted this video of his mother screaming in his Gallardo. Teenagers started following his channel and when Mr. Himler realized the ad-revenue potential, he created two more channels, one specifically for his car videos. And so it was, that teenagers flooded his channel and gave him his much needed traffic. From then on, Himler purchased and traded some more cars, shot some more videos and flaunted his ‘amazing’ lifestyle to others. Most people will realize that his entire spiel is to get as many gullible and naive young people to believe that they can be in his shoes, by using his mindset. This attitude worsened after he met his partner in crime, Amy Sangster.
Amy Sangster is a so-called FOREX millionaire. She wants you to believe that all of her wealth was acquired by trading foreign currency on the market. If you want to see her in action, watch this video on how to make a ton of money in little time. Amy of course, wants you to believe that anyone can start trading FOREX. You don’t need a lot of capital or knowledge, right? She also conveniently forgets to mention how approximately 90% of investors lose money trading FOREX. But that’s okay because her soon to be founded company InfiniteProsperity will teach you how to be a millionaire and beat the market. Yessss!

Now, after Amy met Robert, they both began appearing in videos with more exotic cars. But their final video (Which you can find on his YouTube channel) is unbelievably disgusting. Amy and Robert are awkwardly standing in their car warehouse, in front of their Lambos of course, telling you about their new book. They look uncomfortable and Amy is reading off of a placard, probably because they realize that what they are doing is wrong but money is more important to them. They are selling their book for $47 (soon to be $55+) that includes access to a forum dedicated to readers of their book. What a great deal. Oh, I forgot to mention their ‘book’ is about 100-pages. Probably written in Word and saved as a PDF. Great, great value.

Hopefully you have a better understanding of who these scam artists are. I’m sure most people would do the same thing in their position. It amazes me that Amy is actually engaging in this behaviour after she admitted in an interview that she wants to change the world and teach young people how to escape the rat race. Good job teaching young people how to be naive and lose money Amy. Keep up the great work!

A scammer is defined as

swindler: a person who swindles you by means of deception or fraud.

Robert Himler is a scammer because he is deceiving people into believing his lifestyle was created through hard work and merit when in fact, he is flat out lying. His father is in fact a successful owner of a used car dealership. He obtained most of his cars through his father and his connections. How can anyone believe a 21 year old could afford so many $50,000+ cars on his own merit. His Razzi website is barely generating enough revenue to pay maintain his Lamborghini.

One should question the validity of these two. How can a couple of 21 year old teenagers, who have barely even gotten through life expect to be taken seriously in regards to giving ‘life lessons’? They do not appreciate those that helped them be where they are and they are lying to people to make more money off their backs. The poor are getting poorer and the fake are  getting richer! He also portrays himself as an entrepreneur but what kind of entrepreneur tricks others into giving away $55 for a PDF written in Word?

Robert and Amy respond by insulting everyone and calling them haters! See Part 2 of the story here.

Thank you for the article, no wonder their book is not selling on Amazon (at the time that I’m posting this comment) which I found extremely strange. But it makes sense, because bad reviews from the readers would ruin their revenue – and they want to avoid that.
AND any videos on youtube that resemble this article’s content get taken down due to “copyright claims” by Himler.
Which reminds me, wasn’t Himmler one of Hitler’s top henchmen? A coincidence or is he a descendent?

    • Al says:

Michael, you’ve hit the nail on the head. Anyone criticizing his American Dream as nothing but an American illusion gets blocked from the comments section on his videos. It’s no wonder the majority of the videos have comments disabled. Not because of the haters, but because of those who are a bit skeptical (read: see through the BS).

  4. Alan Johnson says:

I’ve always found that if it seems too good to be true, then you know the answer. It is not. It is a fake or fraud. The car vids are cool. Amy is very hot and I love her accent. I think Robert’s mother is very hot too.

  5. Canexican says:

I have known Robert Himler since he was 16 and driving around in a modified Evo in Pittsburgh, PA. It had dealer plate. He came to all the Evo meets and we all knew it was a lot car that his Dad was letting him borrow. He made a bunch of YouTube vids of it back when YouTube wasn’t crazy popular and wasn’t inundated with videos. This is how he racked up views and subscribers…good timing. Well, it came time sell that car and his Dad put him in a E46 M3. He then started Evo bashing and touting the M3 as God’s gift to the automotive universe. Turns out that M3 was someone elses gift so off it went and in came, “his”, first gallardo. I put his in quotations because he does not own any of his cars. Over the years he has become very good at lying and manipulating people with his videos. He gives the illusion of success when he has done nothing but live off of his father’s teet. Now he is really trying to get rich quick with this fony book and that is why I am finally speaking out. People need to know he is a hack so that they don’t get ripped off. He is a personality-less douche that is trying to be someone that he’s not…a young, successful entrepreneur with a hot girlfriend that is attracted to him for who he is…not because of his Dad’s U.S. AutoMart dealership money.

  6. John Doe says:

AMEN TO THE ABOVE!!! I HAVE BEEN WATCHING IN DISGUST AT THIS GUY FOR OVER A YEAR, WONDERING IF I WAS MISSING SOMETHING AND HONESTLY JEALOUS YET ADMIRING HIM FOR WHAT I THOUGHT WAS BREAKING THE MOLD. FOR A 30 SOMETHIGN YEAR OLD WHO WORKED HARD TO GET THOUGH COLLEGE AND HOLDS A BACHELORS DEGREE TO BARELY MAKE ENDS MEET THIS WAS FRUSTRATING. I HAVE BEEN PREDICTING HIS FALL, BUT AS LONG AS HIS RICH DAD IS THERE THE ONLY WAY PEOPLE WILL AVOID HIS SCAMMING IS EITHER THE TEENAGERS GROW UP OR PEOPLE ARE SMART ENOUGH TO REALIZE HIS REAL STORY. THANK YOU CANEXICAN.

    • Mike says:

Capitivity of negativity. You all are sick and jealous.

      • FRH says:

        stfu robert!

      • Alex says:

Actually, I’m jealous of Sergey Brin and Larry Page. They actually did something. All this kid did was claim his father’s possessions were his own and built a large web following based on that nonsense. I also wouldn’t brag, however implicitly, about believing his BS. If you’re a fool, best keep it to yourself. Who knows, some people may never notice.

  7. Charles Weston says:

Spread this link to rip off report to bring Robert Himler down he is a fake and here is the proof done by a PI, http://www.ripoffreport.com/robert-himler/internet-fraud/robert-himler-far-from-it-raz-7be14.htm

    • FRH says:

I would love to pay 10 times more than the book to take this liar to court. you should start a web site to raise money for the law suit.

  8. truthsupplier says:

lol, i have the book cuz someone passed it to me, but the link got deleted in a few days or so, yeah the book is like word -> pdf, paragraphs arent even aligned so yeah, its the basic scam stuff, if anyone wants to have a look at it just say. cheers.

    • John Doe says:

Jealous maybe, who wouldn’t be if it was true. Jealous yet admiring and wondering where we went wrong. What’s sick though is driving cars 200mph on public roads endangering everyone and trying to race bikers. All the fun will end things will flip 360 and they’ll be poor as fuck when they kill a family and end up in prison for life. Sounds like a wonderful and mature “entrepreneurs” dream. Respect a real entrepreneur people, one who helps others not races fast cars for no other benefit than his own. Google philanthropist, does Himler and Sangster help others???

    • SamiiJay says:

dude do you reckon you could give me the book too? Would be extremely grateful.

  9. Jon says:

    Thanks for putting this up.
I’ll preface by saying that I am one of the very rare people who actually made very good money at Forex and I’ll tell you right now it is very difficult-it moves too quickly, you need lots of money to start with, and the “brokers” are largely crooked. Ignore all these “Forex Robots” for sale for $47 and courses that promise the world. I have known very intelligent people with degrees in math and finance get wiped out time after time.
You have much better chances in trading simple stocks. Or the e-minis are the best.-they are exchange traded. Use google.

Anyways I stumbled on her video, and it shows her-one and only- forex video supposedly making $10k in 20 minutes- I’ve done better than that many times but I’d bet all those great numbers are just from a demo account.
Just one video, and comments have been banned.
Think about it-if she wanted to really sell her book, she’d have a lot more videos up AND answer questions.

    • forexbastards says:

I want Jon to be my mentor. I’m not going to lie, I got wipe out for trying to chase a loosing bet and mismanaging my account.

  10. Jealousy is grand, isn’t it? Get off it, who cares even if accusations are true!? You buy the book to join the community and grow your circle of contacts. People watch his videos because THEY WANT TO. They are not pressured. See, the time it took you to write this article, could have been used to formulate plans/ideas and begin work. Stop bitching. Stop hating. This will get you NO WHERE in life. And don’t you dare bullshit me in saying you’re not jealous. You are. If you weren’t, why would you go to the effort in writing this article. Pull your head out. Stop bitching and putting people down. Live your own God damm life!

    • Mugget says:

Seriously? Who cares? People who don’t want to get scammed – they’re the people that care!!

Buy the book and join a community of like-minded sheep who are willing to bend over and be scammed… yeah, great formula for success!

  11. Jamie P says:

You dare to leave any kind of constructive negative feedback about his book and he deletes your post, All Robert cares about is making money. I read someone else’s copy and it’s basically just another generic self-help type book that attempts to brainwash its readers into thinking they can get rich just by starting any old website at home, and the cash will start rolling in. Unfortunately what the majority of his readers don’t realize is that Robert had a huge financial step-up from his rich parents – something he conveniently forgets to mention in his book. Robert relies on his ass-kissing clueless fans to make his money and they follow him around like sheep. Just take a look at his Facebook page, his fans are embarrassing and are only there because they want to say they are ‘friends’ with someone who owns a Lambo. That’s exactly what he relies on – desperate people desperately wanting to live his ‘dream’ life. Anyone who dares to challenge him in any way is automatically called a ‘hater’ or ‘jealous’. It’s his built-in defense mechanism. Well guess what Robert, there are a lot of people out there with more money than you, better cars than you (and who actually paid for them themselves!) and bigger houses than you. So quit looking down on people like you’re some kind of god because you’re FAR FROM IT.

  12. isaac976 says:

just chanced upon his YT site and its disgusting,.. yeah .. good to know that the internet will prevail with all Amy and his lies.. they wont go far.

    Cheers
    Isaac

  13. Jimmy says:

I’ve been pro trading (not forex) for 10+ years so I see scam in a second. I wrote few comments to Amy about her idiotic photos (trading by her pool, smiling) where she looks like trading is fun and easy stuff. Yeah sure, that’s why investments banks employing top experts matematicians, statisticians, well educated economists from top schools went almost bust, because investing/trading is easy and can be done by everybody. Well obviously my comments were deleted so she only proved my point.

  14. James J says:

Report this scammer to the IRS, the Pennsylvania Tax Department and Florida Tax Department. If he claims he is self made, let’s make sure he pays his dues.

  16. Brandon says:

Amy seems like she would be a genuinely nice person, but she made a dumb decision partnering with Robert. If they truly are scammers, they will get what is coming to them.

  17. John Willis says:

Time to stop with the conjectures. Read this and put this FDN to bed. http://amysangster.com/the-real-truth-about-amy-sangster-robert-himler/

  18. Tishka says:

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! This is so spot on. They are both trolls. Robert is a personality-less douche that hasn’t made CRAP himself. Razzi? Please….gets about 10 views a day hahahaaha – anyone who believes this kid needs his or her head examined. Flat out fraud.

  19. chrisnn123 says:

“Far From It” awesome book. Don’t care who speaks negative about this book . Just read out this book and get quick tips that will help you to build a strong profession as a flourishing entrepreneur.

  21. Big Tony says:

Ah, the power of a hot twat.

  22. Fabio says:

    Dear Americans.
Please take him to court. Letting him spread this style makes a europeans brain hurt. Because it is so unbelivable that only one person would belive this stuff. You know, it seems that anyone who belives this stuff has no clue what culture or interlect is. That guy is a very bad advertisement for american people. Ok, perhaps only people with no education and skill belive him, because they have no other choice and would like to dream. But this is so completely damn 100% ripoff, that anyone talking of jealousy just screams out to the world: “hi, i am a dump fool, and over here in us there are many of us, so that filthy scammers can life by exploiting us.”… thats intellectual selfdestruction. if my english is bad, try to learn german.
Let intelligence survive and start to work against this people.
If i can advice you a film wich describes how i see the majority of US, thanks of Himler: Idiocracy (wich is hopefully only a cliche that only seems like that from overe here.) In this sense i am agnostic. i know there must be good guys over there, but this obvious bullshit and the comments of people explaining in a para-scientific way that this is all true… boa guys :D thats hurts hard in my brain and killed at least over 1000 synapses. :D Dont hate germans, i am italian actually :D
Dont hate anyone except dump people. cause thats what i do, thats my story of effort for everyone.

    • DaytonCarCare says:

I just thought it was funny that you wrote: “Dont hate anyone except dump people”. Spelling “dumb” wrong. I know typos happen… but just thought it was ironically funny.

But yea, most people with half a brain with do a little research (since it’s so easy with Google now days) before risking $50 online. It maybe pocket change for some, but that’s some gas money that I could really use. At $4.00 a gallon, and some Mercedes I drive require premium only, I’m not going to give it away.

  23. Stefan says:

Although this is obvious, there always has to be someone who reveals the truth and does some research.

  24. DaytonCarCare says:

Thanks for the info. When I see his face in his YouTube video, makes me want to use it as a punching bag. I’m a mechanic, and have obtained my cars the hard way. By earning them. Not by trying to con people by paying for an over price PDF file or other useless product online. So tired of seeing this “get rich schemes” by trying to generate income from nothing constructive. No wonder we see so much low quality crap imported from China. This country has become lazy with a fast food mentality toward finances.

  25. KennyG says:

Hahaha!! Things are getting heated quick!!! all i have to say is Karma is a B—-H

  26. Sarah says:

She claims to be born and raised in Australia but her accent is as American as they come. Seriously, I’m Aussie and I can spot one! They have facebook pictures of their travel to Australia. Firstly the aerial shots are taken from behind the wing in cattle class. You’d expect them to be in First Class munching caviar they way they go on about themselves. Also, they get to Sydney and hire a Toyota Camry??? It’s the dog of all cars in Australia. I’d rather walk than drive a Camry. Sorry mate, something’s just not right. Especially when you’re driving supercars in flip-flops.

  27. zxc says:

So…did anyone actually read the book? I did, and I paid for it. I enjoyed reading it and had plenty of takeaway value for me. I am in my 20′s, have had successful import/sales business, investor, and trading FX 3 years (profitable for 1yr now). I was interested in their story and how they got to where they are. With those who have had success, there is generally an amount of respect for others that have accomplished their success, regardless of how they have done it. Amy sells an education or trading ‘system/plan’ for something like a few hundred bucks for people interested in the business. I paid 5k in the past to get trading education, with little value (and I am not bitter, the fact is I didnt know how to open a chart) before I found my mentor (who is a long time friend of my father…[insert your derogatory 1% comment here?]). Of course 90% of traders fail…so do 90% of other people who are working jobs slaving for someone else’ dream failing to enjoy abundance. Robert has a channel with >56mm views on youtube – Id say that is a great business as long as he isnt in debt for those views. They have the right to write an ebook, and charge whatever they want for it. If you dont like it, ask for a refund. I am SURE they will give it to you (probably a click bank product anyways.) What they are doing isnt unsavory in the least if you can ask and get a refund from either Robert or Amy AND learn something. Just because you do it, doesnt mean it cant be done, or that its illegal, or that its scamming. Most people on here hating because they dont have $$. Go raise 100k+ and you wont care anymore. Then you will understand my line about respect of success.

  28. Badnews says:

Let’s see if we have the facts right. Robert’s claim to fame is developing some websites, of which they don’t appear to generate measurable amounts of traffic (unlike his YT channels that are inundated with admirers). I actually wasted the previous 3 minutes to look at his Razzi site…interesting Flickr clone. Nice to see someone put the Ruby on Rails tutorial to good use, DHH would be proud (www.rubyonrails.org).
On the other hand….Fun and easy are not words I would use to describe Forex trading…well, unless you’re discussing the point with retarded monkeys….or you’re are a retarded monkey yourself and you’re trying to portray yourself in a more favourable light. I guess it works either way. Economics and mathematics are not typically disciplines one would describe as fun, not easy – unless, of course, you knew nothing about Forex.

Smells like a couple of self-indulging-ass-clowns riding the wave on other people’s money. Whether it comes from his parents, or you, doesn’t really matter to either of them. If you have to tell someone you’re a success, chances are…you probably have a ways to go.

Bottom line. If you think success can be found in a book (e-, or otherwise), you will certainly get what you deserve purchasing this fictional wonder.

  29. xrobotx says:

“escaped the rat race” – LOL

    They aren’t old enough to know what a rat race is. If she is a currency trader then I am a gynecologist. Check out my lambo baby :}

  30. anti-scammer says:

Many scam artists work this way. Borrow or rent an expensive car, or rent an expensive home. Show off. Many will say, wow they must be “successful”, especially at such a young age. Well of course they just take other people’s money, and normally disappear. There is no money to be made from “trading Forex” in the medium to long term. The whole industry is ripe for rip-off education seminars with all of the disclaimers you can imagine.

  31. Just some dude says:

You can see she photoshopped her fat rolls out of this photo. Kinda funny. http://razzi.me/photos/217898-poolwork/size/original

  32. truthsupplier says:

lolol didnt knew these retards still gathered that much attention, after this and other scandals in the same timeline they seemed to lay low for a while, anyway i was only coming to ask, anyone wants the book? i can provide it for free ofc.
