Normandy is really dear to me. It is as much a big part of world history and where I came every summer to visit my grand mother.

It is always emotional for me to come back for both reasons.

4-Rent a Car in Paris and visit Normandy on your own ($$$)
I’d recommend that you rent your car from CDG so you can avoid having to drive in & around Paris. The drive will take about 3h30mn on way. We’ve used SIXT several times in France and it has been a seamless experience.

Note that the D-Day beaches are spread over almost 100km (62 miles) and most of the roads are small country roads so make sure you add plenty of time for stopping for breaks and to take pictures.
