Ok fine, maybe that’s not entirely true, but the franchise was full of some pretty amazing relationships that you just couldn’t help but root for. By the end of things, Aang wound up with Katara and Prince Zuko reunited with the gloomy Mai. Both of these couples seemed happy and as far we know, they lived happily ever after. But what if that wasn’t the case? I know I’m not the only one to see the sparks that flew between Katara and Zuko. Sure they started off as enemies, but deep down, the two are a lot alike, both coming from a tough past that included the loss of a mother at a young age. Is there enough there to suggest a potential relationship between the two of them? Well, it certainly looks like it! Here at CBR we enjoy doing alternate reality takes on classic scenarios and today’s is one of our biggest ever! It asks the question What If Katara chose Zuko over Aang?
