| Video Discription | I’m so happy on this wonderful day of Janmashtami – but also a bit sad, because I’m not able to celebrate with my husband Abraham, my parents and friends on this wonderful birthday of Sri Krishna. I’m sorry this is a bit rough, but I’m still on active duty (over 4 months now) and have to make do with what I’ve got. I want to send my best wishes and aloha to all my brothers and sisters in uniform who have exhibited such great personal courage and sacrifice supporting the evacuation. We grieve the loss of every one of our brothers and sisters who paid the ultimate price over the last 2 decades in Afghanistan, including those thirteen service men and women in Kabul who just a few days ago sacrificed their own lives to save the lives of others. We honor you. And we will never forget. |
