Protection of Children from sexual offences Act, 2012 4. Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986. 1. Information Technology Act, 2000 Transmission of photograph of any person's private part without his or her agreement is a punishable offence. Publication or transmission of obscene material is also a punishable offence under section 67 of the act. With this, cyber **** is also increasing. Protection of Child from sexual offences Act, 2012 This act plays an extremely vital role in protecting the children from sexual offences and secures their rights. The use of child or minors for ****ographic purpose is punished under section 14(1) for imprisonment upto 5 years and fine. Special courts are established to hear the cases involving child or minors.
