Union home secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla handed over the certificates to the 14 people after their applications were processed online through a designated portal, an official spokesperson said. ----------- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal’s former husband, Naveen Jaihind, has claimed threat to her life hours after her party admitted to assault on the former Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Personal Secretary Bibhav Kumar. Jaihind, in a video message on the social media platform Facebook, alleged “anything could happen” to her. Maliwal’s ex-husband first clarified that he got divorced four years ago and was no longer in regular touch with Maliwal. He went on to say that whatever happened to Maliwal was part of a bigger conspiracy and there was danger to her life. “Ye sab puri jankari aur sajish ke sath ho raha hai, uske sath kuch bhi ho sakta hai (there’s a conspiracy going on against her and anything can happen to her),” Jaihind said. --------------- Union home minister Amit Shah has called the Supreme Court’s decision to grant interim bail to Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal in the liquor policy case as “not a routine judgement”, saying many believe that “special treatment” has been given to the AAP convener. In an interview to news agency ANI, he said he believes that the top court’s decision to grant bail to the Kejriwal to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections is not a routine judgement. “I believe this is not a routine judgement. A lot of people in this country believe that special treatment has been given,” he told ANI’s Smita Prakash. In a direct message to the Delhi CM, Shah said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will remain till 2029. “…and Arvind Kejriwal, I have bad news for you… even after 2029, PM Modi will lead us,” he said, in response to Kejriwal statement that Modi will retire at the age of 75 as is the “norm” in the BJP. -------------- External affairs minister S Jaishankar on Tuesday said that the analysis of the situation in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir is complex but residents there must compare themselves to those living in the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir, referring to the steps taken by the government to develop the Kashmir region. “There is a ferment happening in PoK, you can see it on social media or television.
