| Video Discription | Bonjour! Can you believe it's already episode 20 of our serie?! We are so happy to be cooking for you. Here's is our take on what would be an American meal. Today, we are frenching it up! Instead of a potato salad, we are making a colorful cauliflower and green beans salad. Then, for a typical burger with fries, we are making a delicious turkey and brie burger, with a slice of buttery apple, and some yummy oven roasted fingerling potatoes and some squash bites. For dessert, we are inventing an easy take on the delicious American cheesecake, using buttery cookies for our bases, and an amazing lemon cream on top. Here's you list of ingredients: For the salad: 2 cups of frozen rainbow cauliflower 1 cup of green beans 1/4 cup of cornichons 1/4 cup of cheese cubes grapeseed oil, apple cider vinegar, mustard, mustard seeds, parsley, salt and pepper For the sides: 1 pound of fingerling potatoes olive oil dried thyme, oregano and herbs de provence salt and pepper 1 acorn squash 1 egg 1 tbsp of bread crumbs 1/4 cup of grated cheedar For the burgers 1 pound of turkey meat (makes 4 burgers) brioches buns Brie cheese 1 apple 1 egg 1 tbsp of breadcrumbs garlic salt balsamic glaze dijon mustard 2 shallots 1 tbsp of honey 1 tsp of balsamic vinegar 1 tbsp of butter for the dessert: shortbread cookies lemon curd 2 lemons 100 ml of heavy cream 125 grams of mascarpone 50 grams of sugar |
